Windows Live mail should use the scenic ribbon

Submitted by .Chris on November 16, 2009 to Aesthetics, Icons, Usability

Windows Live Mail should ditch the use of the old menu system and adapt the use of the ribbon. Alow color options, as not everyone wants the blue, and live mail would be a strip down version of outlook, and aimed at the general consumer.

Office Outlook 2010 can use the ribbon, so why can't Live Mail use it as well?

@Mephiles - Probably because Live Mail is released /before/ Office 2010? :)

but Windows live mail has been around since before office 2007 and outlook 2007 had the ribbon.

It does not have enough features to fill up even one ribbon tab.
