Microsoft Exchange Support in Windows Live Mail

Problem: Using Exchange email requires Microsoft Office Outlook on Windows, where Snow Leopard users can use Mail.app (although SL is compatible only with Exchange Server 2007 and not 2003). There is no simple Windows mail client, like Windows Live Mail, for Exchange access (especially, "Outlook Anywhere" or RPC over HTTP, since people would probably be using WL Mail to access work email from home).

Solution: Add Microsoft Exchange email account support to Windows Live Mail, especially via Outlook Web Access/Outlook Anywhere/RPC over HTTP.

Severity: Medium

Impact: High

Status: Not fixed
