Sending a message on WLM while offline

Submitted by semtido on June 9, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

On weak wireless networks, or sometimes even when not online, users may want to send a message, and will not be able to.

My sugestion would be like creating a cache, or an archive of messages sent while not connected, that would be sent when the account got online again (of course, with timestamps of the original sending date and time)

This would greatly improve usability on weak wireless (because the user could get offline/online rapidly and type as he wished without experiencing greyed out text boxes, and his message would be received in the moment he got online again), and for useres that want to say something to someone while not having an internet connection, and might forget what they wanted to say when they get online.

Already explained.
