Setting status in Windows 7 RC1 jump list causes Live to sign out

Submitted by Jrochet on May 7, 2009 to Annoyance, Bug, Usability

When you right click the pinned-to-taskbar icon for Live Messenger and then set any status, Messenger signs out and the "Please wait while Windows configures Windows Live..." installer box appears temporarily.

At that point you can sign back in and the status you wanted to set in the first place is the default option for signing in with.
