[Suggestion] Windows Live Center Jumplist (Vista/7 only)
Vista somewhat has some "Jumplists" and 7 can easily support them already. I would really like someplace where I can see everything about my Windows Live account, right from my desktop, and I don't really want another application on my taskbar, so why not a jumplist instead?
Make something like my mockup below, see all the images at: http://cid-7f0544e37cfd3f9c.skydrive.live.com/s...ve%20Center%20Jumplist

This is a brilliant suggestion in my opinion! After all these are all supposed to fully work with Windows 7 so why not a jump list like this! Good suggestion!
Thing is, I don't believe that's what they would call a jumplist... a jumplist would be something attached to an app on the taskbar and is implemented with very specific APIs. Your mockup (which looks nice) would be more like the dialogs for Network Connections or Power that we see in the notifications area. That means this could work in Vista and I think even XP, while jumplists are specific to Windows 7.
That centralized thing is a good idea though. The mockups are good. Basically I'm saying you should edit the title.
@ burneblue
i like your idea. make an idea for it!
Looks a bit bloated but it's just a mockup. Really like that idea. I'd apreciate a Windows Live desktop gadget as well
Looks amazing :)
I would use this
Why not for WinXP too ?
Because XP is outdated and support will be ending soon Microsoft focus is on vista, windows live and windows 7 right now
Let's Google it...
It seems that someone is allready working on that !

Bill Gates and Steve Jobs? WTF?
Also, why the date shows 2008? :)
