I would like this as an option, but allow users to change layouts.

Windows Live Movie Maker

No, microsoft is not trying to be like apple (or if it is, is failing miserably). Apple usually gets stuff right, and would never make a program that's good for doing absolutely nothing, like this poor excuse for a movie editor.

Apple software just works, and the way they want it to, which is different than just working doing nothing (or not working at all for that matter).

So, no, i don't really like apple, but give me apple software everyday if the alternative is crappy microsoft software.

Windows Live Gallery

I ask of them to make the program faster and lighter, and someone gives -1 to this idea. I can't possibly understand who gives -1 to a proposal of making a program faster.

Trolls.

WLM Improvements

Ok Ensign Joe: thanks for the trolling ;)

Now that we moved past that:
1- Emesene has youtube preview implemented: it is not too big, it works like a charm. Of course that by your talk you are just a moron who has never used linux, so you wouldn't know...

2-Tabs in IMs rule. Of course that you being a moron don't have many friends, so the benefit of tabs for you is minimal. But there are those who need it.

3-Yeah, kind of see your point. But i'm all for freedom and choice: if you can let the users choose, then let them. Don't force them into anything, ant that includes black color for the nick.

4- First good answer you gave: you don't know. Very good indeed ;)

Its not only the time view... It must be more complete: even the movie maker in vista is not enough. Much less a downgrade.

[Messenger] Show a different status to different groups/categories

Wrote on April 23, 2009, 12:37am

Well, never heard or thought of the idea.

While it is interesting, it is such a bold ability, i think it would need a great amount of reworking on the structure of the program.

I guess a simpler solution would be a kind of mass block/unblock by group, so that you would appear offline to certain groups and not others.

Windows Live Hotmail still not stable yet.

Same problem, on firefox, @ windows 7

Some times it just loads, i click some link (inbox, spambox or to read an email) it appears javascript; in the status bar (or something along these lines, and then it just sits there and does nothing (instead of appearing the loading yellow box with text on it, as it does when it loads properly.

[Messenger] Windows Live Messenger needs a Send button.

Wrote on April 23, 2009, 12:32am

first of all, control c control v > copying with the mouse.

as for the send button: easy way of not making it waste space: first just put it in as an option. second, put it in the bar on the bottom, at the right of the handwriting/typing buttons. everyones happy :D

Remove the extra "window" in the "live preview" in messenger (Windows 7)

Wrote on April 23, 2009, 12:29am

Yeah, as xombie said, just right click the messenger executable, and set it to vista compatibility mode, and restart it.

EPIC WIN :D

Remove "windows live today" from messenger

Wrote on April 23, 2009, 12:07am

Don't remove it, just make it off by default, instead of the oposite. Im 100% for choice: everything turned off by default, but every option availiable to the user!
