Office 2010 style not only for Movie Maker.

Wrote on September 7, 2009, 5:44pm

Yes guys,
I've been at it again, made another one! lol
Some of you may have thought, well, if the bubbles are used, and an emoticon is showed, it may not appear right against the background, so here's another design.

Also the timestamps have been moved to the top of the bubble, with a nice little clock icon. Dependent on whether the user has activated them.

Enjoy! :)

Sorry, but I couldn't resist another one :P

I followed the idea of the search box because it was really good :D

I've changed the way the conversations appear. Like they appear in bubbles etc.
Maybe they could have been toned down a little, but at least it shows the general idea :D

Working on this right now ;)
I'll get the mockup done in about 10 minutes, or even less if I work my back off.

Thanks

Unless the menu button (next to the layout button) is removed in favour of the blue menu button, which will be universal across all conversations.
Then yes some of the icons can be moved to the top titlebar :) The search box I think is in a suitable place already, that's probably why you can't think of somewhere else to put it :P
I also added status to the top, so that you can change your status from any chat tab easily. Just click it in the title bar :)
I should have mentioned that in my last comment.

Oh! and the menu which is opened by clicking the name should be moved to the new blue button too, and instead, when you click on the name, you can edit it just like the personal message

:D

Thanks
Jordan

Merge messenger scenes with themes of Live websites.

Maybe add a site that can share scenes too (of course in high quality and not the pixelated mess already)

:) + 1 for the idea mate!

Remove the extra "window" in the "live preview" in messenger (Windows 7)

Wrote on June 6, 2009, 9:10pm

Ahaha, I'm such as jackass!
When the page loaded, I saw the image above and was like wtf, then I realised it was an image, and the other funny thing is, is that i'm viewing this site on XP.

So dumb of me lol.
I do agree the extra window needs removing in the previews. That one extra window, could be another chat with someone else instead of just showing your contact list.

[Messenger] Font Dialog is outdated

Wrote on May 29, 2009, 1:05pm

@Ninja90 - have you ever wrote a message in windings and asked them to copy and paste it in their own chat window? It shows what was wrote in windings in their own font when they paste it. Pretty good tbh.
Sorry for that random comment btw lol.

[Messenger] Default "new message" sound is annoying

Wrote on May 27, 2009, 8:46pm

Lol, I'm 14 and even found the sound to be annoying!
I changed the sound to one used in 7/Vista, a nice little jingly sound that makes me want to read the convo, and not go "urghh, there goes that annoying sound again!"
Sorry for that little colloquial passage I just wrote, but that's how it is.

Hopefully they change it!
+1

[Hotmail] Check email button

Wrote on March 23, 2009, 6:44pm

Yeah, this might confuse new users to Hotmail too.
They may be wondering why a new email hasn't arrived because they do not know that they have to click inbox.
Putting "check mail" or something similair will be useful and easy to understand :)
