Messenger's default smileys can't be changed

Wrote on February 10, 2010, 9:01pm

I would go one further and say get rid of this popup, and make the entire list of smileys a slide-out sidebar. I have quite a few additional smileys, and it would be easier to click on them if I didn't have to open the 'additional smileys' dialog, then double click to insert, then close to continue typing. Much easier to have a persistent sidebar, then double click on a smiley, and keep going.

Geo-Tagging pictures within WinLive Photo Gallery

This is somewhat possible with MS Photosynth utilizing bing maps. Integrating this functionality onto Windows Live Photo Gallery would be amazing - you could take tours of your pictures, and tour your synths!

I would like more feed providers - I use www.welt.de and foxnews.com for news sources but still cannot add them.

"minify" is not a verb and is not a word. The English word is "minimize" or "shrink" or "make smaller."

Face recognition and fast People tagging in Windows Live Photo Gallery

Wrote on March 26, 2009, 7:07pm

I would use WinLive Photo Gallery on a regular basis if it did this. I have several thousand pictures, and an auto-assist face tagging like the iLife or Picassa have would make my life so much easier.
