Create a RSS feed for desktop wallpaper using current Bing.com daily picture
Yes I agree I love this idea! I am always scouting around for brilliant High def pictures to use as wallpapers, so this idea gets my backing!
Calendar and Contacts - separate Programs
I suggest you try Thunderbird to compare! It works exactly the same! I don't understand what your answer is meaning? That is exactly what I do now, I click on the icon at the bottom if I want to view my contacts, if I want to send an e-mail to some contacts, that is fully integrated, so is the calendar! Why would you want them seperate? They all belong to and work together as an integrated whole! Cripes it took us all long enough to get the Calendar incorportated into Live Mail, now you want to seperate it again? Sorry, its right where it should be in my view.
Remove the Live Mail tray icon in Windows 7 and offer the tray menu icons as jumplist from taskbar
I agree with this suggestion. We need Windows Live Mail to also have a jumplist.
Calendar and Contacts - separate Programs
No thanks! I prefer them combined as now. Just as they are in Thunderbird. The best place for your contacts AND the calendar is in your mail program! We have all requested this and now you want to put it back as it was???
[Mail] Add a "To Do" Section in the Calendar Part of Windows Live Mail
reminderfox can be installed to use inside Firefox OR inside Thunderbird, and its a little reminder that sits in your taskbar (or firefox's taskbar) and then you can place any 'to do's' or reminders or anything inside it, then it 'pops up' and is so useful! I have waited and waited for someone to program the equivalent for either IE or Windows Live Mail but no one ever has! Invaluable for such an absent minded person like me!
[Mail] Add a "To Do" Section in the Calendar Part of Windows Live Mail
Yes this is a must Jeremy! I have asked for this elsewhere. Whenever in the past I have used Firefox, I have always made use of the Reminderfox add on and Windows Live Mail (or IE) is really missing this sort of addition.
[Suggestion] Windows Live Center Jumplist (Vista/7 only)
This is a brilliant suggestion in my opinion! After all these are all supposed to fully work with Windows 7 so why not a jump list like this! Good suggestion!
[SkyDrive] Add a Feature too Skydrive Which Allows Us to Move Folders
Same here! Its amazing just how many folks blast their e-mails all over the place and then wonder why they get tons of Spam!
[Writer] Writer add-in gallery browsable from within Writer
Again good idea Jamie! Have you suggested this to the writer team? I find that they are always willing to implement really good suggestions and this is definately in that catagory.
[Groups] Group reputations
Good idea this Jamie I wholeheartedly aggree as we need someway to encourage users to participate in discussions and introduce new discussions. (At the mo its mainly me and I am fast running out of ideas!)
[Spaces] Decouple the blog from WL Spaces
And then you wonder don't you why I tossed you off my network and out of my Group! You really are an obnoxious, big headed imbecile who hasn't a clue about any of the Live services, who wasn't even vaguely around before Wave 3, who has not used any of the desktop apps until recently and yet who purports to know everything there is to know about Live Services!
I have been using Live apps since their infancy when they were first born! All of them and the same with Windows Live! and when I get ideas, they are my own, not borrowed and stolen from other users!
[Spaces] [SkyDrive] Improve support for blogging to WL Spaces/SkyDrive with Word 2007
Because Greg, one is a word processor and the other is a blog editor! Writer is written with blogs in mind and is part of the Live Services for that purpose!
You forget I think (as usual) who Live Services are targetted at! Ordinary users who might not have Windows Office on board! What are they supposed to use for blogging then?
Word is not and never has been targetted at composing a blog, it is the word processing part of Office which is fundamentally aimed at companies and users who need and use an Office suite.
[Spaces] Decouple the blog from WL Spaces
And what would then be left of Spaces Greg? Nothing! Already its been robbed of Photo's and Profile, so what would be left? And I suppose you as the current Live expert know exactly how Spaces is supposed to fit in.
Allow custom order of banner links
I have already submitted this ages ago to the Live Teams via the Clubhouse as you are well aware Greg.
A users Home page should be fully customizable by them and should reflect what they want to be available via 'one click' its after all your HOME page and no one else sees it.
Windows Live Writer should use the scenic ribbon
Wrote on September 13, 2009, 10:07am
I completely agree and its on my wishlist in the Community Clubhouse. Live Photo Gallery and Live Mail could also make use of it as well, but writer is a natch for the ribbon in my opinion , its a no brainer!
