Submitted by .Chris on March 6, 2009 to Annoyance, Bug, Usability

My guess is this "extra window" is really the systray icon that was removed from the tray in windows 7.

Bring back time line view in Windows Movie maker, as an optional view for those who want it.

Submitted by .Chris on March 6, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

In the new verson of movie maker, you seem to have removed time line view, the most critical part of a "movie making app" (how can you edit a movie with out knowing the exact time frame you are at the moment?)

So to make everyone happy, just add back Time Line view. Have it as a secondary "view" mode, so those who dont want to move to the new view can go back to the old view.

This, may bring movie maker, the most "popular" (more...)

MSN Toolbar or Windows Live? Just have ONE

Submitted by .Chris on March 6, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

Why the need for two toolbars from you guys?

http://toolbar.us.msn.com/

Merge both, ditch one (or both)

Note, I prefer the MSN design. I cant stand the ugly white and icon less crap your pulling. There is such thing as "too much clean"

Windows Live Mail did not shut down correctly is old and outdated

Submitted by .Chris on April 8, 2009 to Aesthetics, Icons, Legacy

Take a look at my screenshot. The top half is what is there now. The bottoum is what SHOULD be there.

You get this message if windows live mail crashed or was shut down incorrectly.

Update to the image on the bottoum.

Add a contact slider to messenger to resize our contacts on the fly

Submitted by .Chris on March 6, 2009 to Aesthetics, Annoyance, Icons, Usability

Why must we use a ugly old dialog box thats really dated just to resize the contacts? Let alone the old fashond way, of clicking radio buttons, clicking apply and clicking ok, just to see changes? Introduce a slider, much like the ones found in the vista/7 (more...)

I don't know why you did it this, way but make the next verson like this,

Have a darker theme set in wave 4, but keep the light set for those who love it

Submitted by .Chris on March 17, 2009 to Annoyance, Usability

some of us like darker themes, but your forcing us to use the dumb bright, cartoon-ish themes

Create a set of dark themes for weave 4, but keep the light for those who want the light

Windows Live mail should use the scenic ribbon

Submitted by .Chris on November 16, 2009 to Aesthetics, Icons, Usability

Windows Live Mail should ditch the use of the old menu system and adapt the use of the ribbon. Alow color options, as not everyone wants the blue, and live mail would be a strip down version of outlook, and aimed at the general consumer.

Windows Live Call uses older design.

Submitted by .Chris on April 15, 2009 to Aesthetics, Annoyance

Microsoft must think we are really stupid not to notice this. Windows live call uses a windows live messenger 8.0 style window. Keep in mind 8.0 launched about 2 years ago

Update the design to the new style. If messenger is gonna have a new look next time around, update the look of live call to that, don't just update it to 8.5 or 9.0. HAVE IT MATCH!!!!!
