WLM menu with Aero disabled has ugly blue border

when clicking "sign in... " at the tray icon, messenger opens main window, it doens´t sign in.

Problem: The tittle pretty much describes the problem. Why does the main window have to pop up when I have both my email and password saved? It should just sign in minimized.

Windows Live Mail .eml, vintage icon

Problem: When you save an email message as an .eml draft file, the file type icon looks rather outdated.

Solution: Have it so that the icon used is exactly the same as Windows Vista's Windows Mail .eml file type icon.

Messenger's default smileys can't be changed

Problem: You can't change WLM's default smileys.
It's annoying because sometimes you find really good smileys, but you can't really use them since ":-)", ":-(", etc are already used.

Solution: Allow us to change the default smileys, and maybe add a "Reset default smileys" button.

New Icons and Images

Clean SkyDrive URLs

Allow HTML editing when composing eMail messages

Windows 7 unable to access NAS after installation of "Widnows Live Sign-in Assistant"

Bring back pop-up reminders in Windows Calendar

Problem: Now in Windows Live Calendar (Windows 7), you can only receive an email as a reminder for calendar events. In Windows Calendar (Vista) you could set a pop-up reminder at a time interval of your choosing before the event occurs.

Solution: Bring back the functionality to set pop-up reminders at a time interval of your choosing (as was possible in Windows Vista).

Downloading IMAP Folders animation has an old animation

Problem: When Mail downloads the folders in IMAP, it decided to remind you how much they have come from those 256-color bitmaps to 256x256 icons in full color and transparency glory.
The dialog itself is also old.

Solution: Replace it.

Move Live Mesh Bar

Solution: Allow choice to move the bar, to close it completely, add a menu to the explorer bar or the buttons to the explorer bar. Where it is now is too impractical.

Messenger's Activities and Games need a serious overhaul

Allow more functionality of Games for Windows LIVE out of game

Problem: If you are not in a game with Games for Windows LIVE, the only things you can do with Games for Windows LIVE are look at the marketplace and look at your downloads.

Solution: Allow more functionality, such as Profile editing, friend adding/chatting, etc. out of game.
