All types of searches should have both infinite scroll and navigable page numbers

Submitted by brian.shapiro on March 5, 2009 to Usability

Because of indecision of which way of displaying search results is better, the Live team has split the difference, and made the web search navigable by page numbers and the image search navigable by an infinite scroll. This takes the advantages of infinite (more...)

Have search results for both web queries and image queries show in an infinite scroll, but have different positions within the scroll be navigable by page number. (like pages in Microsoft Word)

Submitted by irv4oh on November 7, 2009 to Usability

Provide the ability to export in the native resolution. And while you're at it, having some preset "wide-screen" formats would be nice too, for portable devices, etc... you know, like Zune HD, iPhone, etc. But I should be able to specify (more...)

Submitted by mjflynt on April 23, 2009 to Annoyance, Bug, Usability

Live Contacts that use a Yahoo Messenger ID are not showing as online and cannot be contacted via web Messenger. This seems to be affecting those who's Live ID is different that their IM address in their contact info.

This is possibly a bug, and it would require you fix it if so.

Submitted by JTaylor69 on March 23, 2009 to Aesthetics, Annoyance, Bug, Usability

When the Messenger window is maximized or resized it pixelizes the scene or makes it distorted.

Fix the scenes by stopping them from becoming pixelized.
This includes the default scenes.

Let us move the ad to the right side.

Submitted by blai_cb on June 9, 2009 to Aesthetics, Annoyance

I always have patched my msg, but if the ads weren't so annoying, maybe I wouldn't need to do it.
I always use msg maximized, so in my widescreen I have a big empty space in the right side, while the current ad would take space of my (more...)

Move or let us move the ad position like it is in Hotmail.
Maybe it could be done automatically depending on the shape of the window.
