"Download more pictures" dialog in Messenger is visually outdated
On the dialog where you select a display picture, there is a small link to "Download more pictures..."
Problem is, the window that pops up is XP-styled!
Also, when you right-click on an image, it states MSN Messenger. I thought (more...)
Either update the dialog to Aero style or just dump this entire dialog altogether.

Windows Live Connection Troubleshooter is old and outdated.
The only mordern thing here are the buttons and the "i" icon. Everything else is out dated

Web based mail: If your going to have text labels, then have text labels
In hotmail, on the web based version, you have text labels up top, but a icon for "print". If your going to use all text, then have the print icon as a text label "print".

Turn Messenger Group icons green when someone in the group is online when the group is blocked.
Messenger group icons/tiles for blocked groups do not change color. Turn Messenger Group icons/tiles green when someone in the group is online even when the group is blocked. This would be consistent with how Messenger handles contact tiles for individuals (more...)
Turn the group's Messenger icon green if someone in the group is online regardless of whether the group has been blocked or not. It currently shows a slash if blocked, but does not go green making it hard to tell if anyone in the group is online (more...)

and set your view to "Extra Large Icons"
Icons and images schould be updated.

If you made a mistake in the sign in screen, the error icons that appear are XP-era.
Update those icons.
